Rational or not?

Its been pointed out that most of my posts here seem to be decidedly rational considering the name of the blog and that I may not really be that irrational, but I ask you this how can I play wow just about all day every day and still be considered rational?

Paladins 62 now, doing a surprising amount of instances, seems outland is still abit more populer here then on Shadowsong.

Paladin? Yes please.

SO I still want a healing class so I've decided to pickup an old paladin I have on my old server destromath, I still wanna play my other toons but my focus in wow generally is leveling I enjoy it most, atm paladins ret and her name is Aprixa and shes lvl56, I'll post updates as things go along.

No groups and stupid events

SO I have yet to find a group other then the big fail group last night, and to top it off everyone is going on about the fire fest as if its cool so far I think its completely retarded and to top it off I think Blizzard did a half assed job of setting it up too, look at all the people who cant even do it because they did last year?

80 and more Titansteel

Hit 80, and ontop of the mace I linked earlier I purchased a Spiked Titansteel Helm and a Chaotic Skyflare Diamond.

Shortly after buying that helm and meta I got into a normal Halls of Lightning run, turns out there was a 75 priest for a healer, and a very undergeared 78 DK with little experience, we failed horribly.

79 and Destroyer

Hit 79, was sitting around 900g so I vendored a few things and managed to buy a Titansteel Destroyer for 950g, pretty happy about that.

78 and going

Halfway to 79, my HP is finally rising with my dps instead of me sacrificing all for dps, mocked about abit on my little priest side project, very slow going...that class seems very tricky in those early levels but I'll manage I think.

Seventy Seven

Just hit level 77, which means I can goto the final zones in Wrath, I'm only 300g short of cold weather flying (I would have had it easily by now but I bought dual spec)

On the note of dual spec I have a blood spec I use for questing and an unholy spec I use for tanking.

3 hour ban

Got a nice 3 hour ban yesterday, apparently I traded my account to myself, oops I'll have to remember not to do that....seriously though do they even look at mac addresses and IP? its not like either of mine have changed much recently neither has the address on my contact info....

I suspect foul play involving some malicious software I am dealing with on my PC atm, so hopefully me and bliz can sort out whatever made them suspect my account.

5 vs 1 I win

Today I solo completed both the 5 man quests Battle of Crimson Watch and Teron Gorefiend, I am... (the armor part of this is 5 man)

Interestingly the teron quest was very easily solo'd but the Battle of Crimson Watch due to the final boss in it was the hardest battle I've won since creating my death knight, guy hit like a truck.

Too OP

SO look at The Burning Crusade, was an amusing video, is an amusing video even if his voice sounds better with out the stupid filter.

Fast forward to Wrath of the Lich King and the video almost entirely (audio wise) applies to DKs especially the comment about death coil.

I just thought of this when I was questing near the Alter of Sseratus (not a typo, its a snake)
and the prophet of said snake attacked me, now this is actually a quest mob, your supposed to use an item taken from a fairly long quest line to lower his powers and kill him....

Death Knight? nah I just killed him as is.....I finished with 1k shy of max hp....Just too OP.

PS. I measured in at 1611.5 dps for the kill.

74 and Zul'Drak

Hit 74 yesterday shortly after a Nexus run, gonna start up Zul'drak today maybe something interesting will happen so I have something entertaining for this blog for once! ^_^

Easy to read?

Is the current theme easy enough to read? I like the theme but I'm told I have a tendency to make colour themes that are not always easy reading.

PvP on PvE servers....

OK So I happen to generally enjoy pvp, but I have friends on a pve server so that is where I play, to keep myself from going crazy every now and then I flag myself, now on a pve server that already means anyone who figures on trying me gets the first hit.

So today I am questing while flagged and I see a Blood Elf Priest run by, hes standing there looking at me now, I figure hes gonna attack but he will wait till it looks like I am busy, so I attack a mob and sure enough he attacks shortly there after, I precede to Death Grip him (Playing on my DK btw) and with out the gory details I'll just say I had 4k hp left of my 8.9 when he died.

I get my hp back and wait behind a rock, when he respawns he sees me as I come out from behind the rock to attack, hes dots me up and I get in about 2 hits and am literally hovering over Mind Freeze, I would have Strangulated him already but it was still on CD from our first round, so he fears me just before I can mind freeze him, my racial (human) is still on CD aswell so I have to wait it out, he gets range quickly and mounts, I get out of fear and mount aswell.

By this point I am really wondering why he started a fight in the first place if he was gonna be a panzy, sadly I was blood spec so I could not out run him, I chase him hoping he gets dismounted by the plethora of mobs hes aggroing on the run, I am making a classic mistake by this point though and pay for it.

hes leading me straight to a horde outpost I did not even know was there, I see the guards but I'm in abit of a bloodlust so I attack him anyway as hes stoppeed, I hit him pretty good but I lost to the guards first.

I lost to him again after due to him also having a mage with him (that I did not see)

New Blog

As part of reviving my old blog I've decided to do a wow blog aswell linking and linked to from the original blog.

I am presently leveling a lvl73 Death Knight, most of its time is spent as Blood spec, while my early leveling was unholy (till about 71) I am enjoying how simple leveling as a DK can be, probably a side affect of being over powered, but if its THAT overpowered why is it not called World of Death Knight?

Every new class in WoW has its balance issues and compared to the others the DK is still very new, I mean I've had people compare it to when the horde got the paladin and the alliance got the shaman, but both of those classes had already existed ingame since launch...
